Hey Chuck. If you open the photo file on a computer with paint, you can select resize. I resize to 30% and that works for getting them on to the forum pages. I got out today and added 6 more. Biggest was 35 1/2 and 13 pounds that gets me to 47

Wow you guys seem to have it figured out. I grew up on CDA Lake but that was before pike were introduced. I've fished for them in the spring with bait but never really in the summer. Avery, my son, and I are heading up Monday for a week of fishing. I just hope I can add 1 or 2 to the tally. AJ's Dad thank you for all the posts you put up. It's been fun and educational reading them.
Tight lines all!

thanks for the photo resizing tip, Mark. I forgot to go to page 2 here and am late on thanking you. got to get off to work now but will try that later. have tried some piking around Roosevelt and Kettle River to no avail. Hard to keep ahead of those nets. got about 40 walleye but them is equal to about one good pike fight

Well Avery ended up with 6 pike last week. They ran 22"- 30" and up to 6.5#. There were also a lot of handles we didn't keep track of. He also caught a SMB over 21" and 5.4#. He was a happy camper!

Yes he's hooked on the pike fishing for sure. Now that his uncle owns a house on the lake we are both hoping to spend more time up there chasing them. A big thanks again AJ's Dad. After reading all your posts for this time of year we knew what to do. Toss big spinnerbaits on the outside of weedbeds next to a drop. Tight lines!

I've added a few pike to my tally. My last post showed 64. Since then I had 6 on Aug. 6th, 3 on Aug. 18th, and 3 more yesterday bringing me to 76 for the year. I only had three hours to fish yesterday. I was glad to be able to locate those three.

spent a week in Minnesota couple weeks ago chasing pike and muskies. Alas, the 20s to 40s temps and winds up to 26 MPH every day buried the targets into the weeds and I came up with only 11 pike--best 5lbs x 28 inches-- and zero muskies. So I have a miserly 14 on the year. :-({|=

I picked up 8 more on Saturday the 27th. We had a good day. Out of our 11 total fish on the day we had a 14, two 13's a 9, an 8 and a 7 pounder. the rest were fat 25-27"ers. That gets me to 94 for the year.

Mark,
finally got a little tutoring for posting pics with paint and attached my personal best pike mentioned last July. I have muskies up to 27lbs but can't crack the 20lb pike yet.
