Coeur De'alene pike

Post by Magnus100 » Sun Oct 19, 2014 1:56 pm

Hello Pike guys,
I have fished the chain lakes and caught a few pike in blue and swan lakes but have had little or no luck on the big lake. We fished the north end Friday all day and caught 2 small smallmouth and had one decent pike hit a spoon. We fished weed edges in cougar and wolf lodge bays and the the small bays south of wolf lodge. We threw spoons, spinnerbaits, jerk baits, floating frogs... Should we head for the south end of the lake? Someone want to trade a pike trip for a sturgeon trip in the spring on the lower Columbia?
We practice strict catch and release.
Thanks

Yes,
His reports are what keep making me crazy to pike fish. AJ's dad? Willing to take me out? I will bring my boat. 20 foot hewes. Bow mount troller, fish finder etc. my fishing background, I am 50 been fishing my whole life. Everything from chasing albacore on my own boat to bass fishin etc. i can trade a trip for you and a buddy to catch oversize sturgeon if you've never done it. Its a blast. Or I also am very good at catching the rainbows all winter on Roosevelt. Also do very well chasing ducks late November thru the end of the season if any of that appeals to you.

Send me an email. Maybe we can hook up before the weather gets too bad. I have some guys coming in from out of town this weekend to fish, and I have a list of guys that have been emailing me about getting out. I'm trying to see what my schedule looks like for November. The wife is trying to get me to head over to Seattle for a weekend but I'm trying to put it off till Thanksgiving time. :)
What area do you live in. You can puit that in the email if you want.

Hello AJ's dad,
I live in Colbert, Wa. I am not sure where to get your email address to send you a note.
Thanks,
