That would appear to be a rainbow with a deformed mouth.

I agree...looks like the brood stock rainbows that are in my lake. And yes, it just appears to have a messed up mouth.

I would have to say its a triploid rainbow trout

I'd have to say who knows, until they get about 5-6 pounds there's no discernible difference. I caught a bunch of those in a lake that's had no trips stocked.

It was caught in a creek that had a hatchery on it

I'd have to say no on the triploid, just a rainbow, a very nice rainbow at that.

Will tide matter for riandows because the place I fish is a tidal creek it 400 ft from the damn upstream
