Give credit to Nate for the new intro. It is a nice improvement isn't it.

yup, and I was using my "bobber rod". It's funny reviewing video later and hearing what comes out of one's mouth in the heat of the action.
I just realized (thanks Nate) that the resolutions are messed up, so I'm redoing the rendering (again). I upgraded to Adobe Premier Pro and After Effects and it's been a steep learning curve (thanks for the help Nate). Plus, now I'm buying a new computer to deal with the updated software (thanks again Nate).

after effects = photoshop on steroids..

I use it for titles and such for some of our snow flicks and full length movies.. endless possibilities!! super fun app once you learn it a little bit.. congrats!

I rendered the video again and re-published it. You can now view it in 1080p on full screen by clicking over to YouTube. (you'll need a good internet connection to watch at this resolution)

Lordy lordy what a fish! I also agree that new intro is great! It makes me want to go fishing, which I think is the halmark of any good fishing video.

Thanks! The intro was fun to work on. The video was more fun to make though. Man I just have to get a look at that fish, it's awesome when you can get those big ones on camera. All of my big fish from years back got lost to film, I wish I had that sort of tech back then.

Nice video Mike and Nate! I used to really enjoy fishing the Hump. Camped many nights in the area and caught lots of nice fish - Kings, Coho, Steelhead and Chum. I fished the mouth of Stevens Creek several times and once caught an estimated 45 pound chrome King. Problem was it was snagged in the top fin. I was tempted to break the law and keep it until 3 more anglers arrived just as I was landing it. It was then released.
