KOA types

Post by Dustin07 » Wed Mar 15, 2017 6:24 am

Do you guys know of some other campgrounds that are similar to the KOA setup? I was looking at the Winthrop KOA because it has the Kabins, pool, and super affordable, etc but the cabins with a bathroom are booked up during the weekends I was hoping to escape this summer.

Mar Don used to be a favorite visit but honestly the last time we went the place was so trashed and the bathrooms so gross I wouldn't force three girls to try there again.

I'm just wanting to explore a kid friendly area with a private bathroom, lots of sun, and decent kid-friendly fishing in July-ish

if your going that far, Concunelly (spelling) has a great camp on the Reservoir and the state one is great too.

I've done Conconully many many times going back to 1999, always stayed at Shady Pines. its a great resort and my boy will be there again for the stampede in August so i'm looking for a different destination. thank you though!
