Hah.. I was just wondering why they weren't showing up in the menu system. The Heat Map tool should be available now.

And yet it is only showing up in the menu when NOT on the forum. I'll get it worked out. For now, head back to the site and find the link in the Members menu.

Also, I probably should remove all lakes that DON'T have Hot Spots available...

For a good example of how the heat maps bring the "good" fishing spots to light check out Pierce County, American Lake.

I thought that the Premium Maps were going to be more of those pretty topo maps. So the heat maps are the new maps?
They are pretty cool. I only went to American and Clear in Pierce County. I fish those lakes and I saw that the warm(reddish) area were where I had caught fish. Then I zoomed in and and saw they were more individual.
Pretty cool stuff Aaron.
Look for Wannafish A Lure on FaceBook
He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.

The Heat Maps are in addition to the "Hot Spots" maps and the High Resolution maps. Those High Res maps are more time consuming to create, so Aaron does them as he is able. The Heat Maps are a new feature exclusively for our Premium Members.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll ask Aaron to take a look at it right away. He's actually wrapping up several new maps to add to the site.

NOTE - if you navigate from the home page of WL.com the maps come up ok. I remeber now, this is a menu issue Aaron is working on.

And to make it more wierd, for me sometimes it works from the forum and sometimes redirects. No apparent consistancy one way or the other.

I can't seem to get to them at all from any where. These maps are a good selling point. The heat maps will be, too. But I like to take the printed premium maps with me.

Yes I am logged in. Both home page and any other page get me the same results. I went to blog tools and it takes me to blog posts. I don't know what else I might not have missed.
