Hey guys and gals
Im a newby great site
I have a mystery pole Im trying to ID its two butt pieces with a nice screw collet on the end, one is 14" the other 12". I was hoping someone could help me ID these? looks like good quality and will make a nice pole. Here are some pictures. Please let me know what you think it could be.

looks 70s - 80s fenwick but just a guess

I would go with the older Fenwick ID also. You have the bait casting butt end and a ring type spinning butt end. I used to have a similar rod, mine was a threaded spinning and a threaded bait-casting rig. The ferule seen in the picture should have the business end or the rod bonded in place. As an FYI, when I was a teenager I had bought the rod at a thrift store in Bothell and was not overly impressed with it.

I'm still looking no matches so far. Since Im close to some of the best custom rod builders in the NW I think Im going to have a 3 piece rod made with modern materials.
