Pinks and Crab from shore

This is my first year trying for Pinks. I was wondering if anyone would suggest a good place within a couple hours of Seattle on either side of the sound where I could catch Pinks from shore while having a couple crab rings in the water to pull up some Red Rocks or Dungeness too?

...and somewhere with camping nearby would be a plus.

Any replies appreciated from a humble rookie!

Not too many places that are good for both without a boat. The Edmonds public fishing pier is about all I know about unless you head towards Tacoma where there are a couple more. The Edmonds pier is quite a height above the water though. Many use crab nets to haul up their fish. You could probably get a few from the Elliot bay fishing pier too, but not sure how safe the crab are to eat from that area. Most of the good shore access locations that are good for Pinks are from the beach only.

Edmonds, Dash Point, Muckilteo, Kayak Point, Picnic Point, Deception, Point No Point etc.

Crabs are all over in the sound, At low tide you can wade around and just grab them up off the bottom. Or cast a crab snare out if you don't have a pier to fish from. Crabs are fine from area ten, people catch them out in the bay, and they're the same crabs that roam the bottom out away from shore.

Most of the best places to catch pinks are close to home, no need to go camping. They're going to be everywhere.
