At least according to Dr. Cliff Mass who is a weather and ocean expert. I dont know if that is true but I sure hope it is. If it is true there should be improved ocean conditions, much better runs and fishing for Coho in 2017.

According to the recent forecasts it is going to get colder around here so that may help also. I think I'll monitor this guys website and see if anything else pops up.

If that is true and no reason to doubt it then I think that is great news. For one it pushes the tuna fishery out and further south which will mean less competition for bait fish.
