No. I have heard of one here and there at Lincoln Park. I'll be there once they show more. Im affraid we need rain or a nice freshet to entice the fish towards the Duwie.
Re: West Seattle
I tried Lincoln Park a couple times at lunch late last week. Saw a few caught, but it was very slow. No hits for me during my visits. Pinks are kind of a crap shoot right now. One hour it's hot and the next it's dead. You'll only know if you go give it a try.
Re: West Seattle
I hit two monday morning before work. Mine were two of about 10 caught with roughly 40 guys.
I went yesterday after work and this morning between those two trips I have seen six caught.
Ill put it this way I am about to get off early with a free evening and im not going down there.
Let us know how ya do if ya head down there.

Same story here. I've been fishing Lincoln Park quite a bit lately. Couple of days I saw a bunch (<10) caught. Out of about 5 trips I caught just one. Last weekend I finally gave up and went down to the combat zone (aka Dash Point). Knowing well the pathetic parking situation I left my car "far" away and hiked a fair distance down to the pier. Started casting in the most unwanted spot on the entire pier. And guess what? Hooked up to a pretty good size humpy in 30 mins flat. And this was at the most unlikely time between the tides too. Not sure if I'll go to Lincoln P again. Definitely not going early in the morning for sure. Late afternoon scene is much more relaxed and chilled out. Early morning is very combaty with few fish. Maybe in another week or so it will get better.

Any one try lincoln park this weekend? Im guessing it was PACKED with people just wonderin if any one caught anything. Happy monday morning.
Re: West Seattle
I caught two in a 15 minute period about 2 hours before low tide on Saturday. Saw about 25 caught all between a 2 hour time frame. Fish the outgoing tide. Dont bother with the incoming tide, you won't catch anything.

Interesting, the only pink Ive caught this year was just After low tide, but I will definitely try incoming since the tides look pretty good the rest of the week.oldguyfox wrote:I caught two in a 15 minute period about 2 hours before low tide on Saturday. Re: West Seattle
Outgoing tide concentrates more bait & fish on the north side of the point. Incoming, fish the south side if you can....

Im heading out tonite for pinks to West Seattle. These fish no doubt are heading to the Duwamish I assume. Why wouldnt Alki or the inner Elliot bay even near salties would be good. Ive only really ever did Lincoln Park. Does anyone know if Alki is just as good?

Re: West Seattle
Are the pinks done at LP? Did they even arrive in castable/catachable numbers there?
Re: West Seattle
Probably not completely done, but not many to be had I imagine. My last trip to the beach was slow with only three lucky Pinks caught after a reportedly dead morning. Still lots of Pinks moving through the lower Duamish. Might find a few and maybe some Coho at LP though.
