Anyone out there own a Fetha Styx rod? The Predator series? If so what do you think? I'm a Lamiglas guy and was wondering how they match up with the Lamiglas Certified Pro rods. Thanks for your input.

I saw these at Yeager's in Bellingham and was wondering the same thing. They're priced in the $2-300 range, so I was wondering what the differences might be between these and the similarly priced Sage Flight and Launch series.

Not Sage blanks. Batson Enterprises.

Some are very good. Others just so-so. Their RX8 blanks make killer rods. You can buy all the rod building stuff from Batson. Very good folks do do business with.

Wolverine...You are correct....Batson are the blanks used by Fetha . I have made several rods by Batson and found them to be outstanding. Batson is up in Sequim and have lot's of grades of rods. The Fetha people use excellent blanks and their prices are right for the quality of rods they sell. I am old school and still use my old Fenwicks along with the new Sages, Lamiglas and Batsons. I really don't think I have lost a fish because of the rod I am using. Always purchase the best that you can afford. Don't pay for the name... purchase the quality required for the job! Good luck in your search, Steve
