Too much oil injection

The oil set up on the pump shows the line to line up with the forging post but that is way too much oil going into the carbs. Looks like st paddy's day again. I have a 1996 60 hp 3 cylinder 2 stroke merc ELPTO. Anyone have the correct view of the setup for this pump? If it's set right I was told I may have a open 2 psi check valve. Thanks
