Hey guys,

I have been looking at different aluminum boats for kind of the jack of all trades fishing. I think I have it down to the crestliner 1650 sportsman but cannot find any reviews. I am looking at the 2013 as it seems they re designed the whole thing. Does anyone have any experience with this boat?

I have a 2008 Crestliner Kodiac SC and really love it. It was one of the first we saw at the Boat Show that year. Clearwater Marine in Bellingham was our vendor and they were/are wonderful in our experience. The Kodiac was a new model that year and Crestliner really hit a high value sweetspot with that boat.

It's my first boat so can't claim to be expert. I do find it to be absolutely perfect.
We added bow trolling motor, basic Scotty downriggers, bimini top (after a couple of trips where the sun got to us).

I'll post a few pics. (I think I have one with the bimini on backwards, to further make my point that we're beginners). We're starting to be able to launch it without too much hilarity. Every time I think of fishing I thank my luck that we now have our own boat. Rentals are better than nothing, but one could sure learn to hate boats that way.
