Rock lake boat launch
I am interested in launching at rock lake out by cheney but am a little nervous about the unimproved launch I was wondering if anybody with a glass boat could give me some pointers, I have a center console tri hull and that center hull reaches pretty far down and I definatly dont want to tear it up. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks...D

I have launched there once and if my memory serves me, you shouldn't have a problem. Launch in the creek. There is a greater slope to back down but you should be ok as long as there is no snow or ice on the launch. I can't speak to the depth at that end of the lake though, my jet runs a little more shallow than your boat. Good luck and let us know how it goes

RE:Rock lake boat launch
Rock Lake's launch is tough. If your boat hangs real low, you could indeed have troubles.
I advise that you wear a pair of waders and wade the spot out first to determine your problems. I have heard many a boat trailer drag as people back in or pull out. In fact, Easy Loader and I are on a first name basis with all of the repair parts I have purchased for my trailer.
Just don't step off the drop off - the launch ends with a cliff drop straight down.
I still won't stop fishing it.

Too much water, so many fish, too little time.
