Homebrew Rod Holder

Post by bcapron13 » Sat Mar 04, 2017 10:42 pm

Just purchased a little aluminum boat last weekend and decided to build the first mod for it today. Built an aluminum rod holder. Pretty happy with the way it turned out after just kind of throwing it together on a whim. Should hold up a little better than pvc lol

Home built, Rube Goldberg type stuff is often the best! Owning a boat lends itself to homebuilt stuff.

Nicely done. Did you weld them or bolt?

Just used stainless bolts for the holders and the bracket on the boat, that way I could change stuff around if need be
