Newman Lake Dock

Does anyone know if they have installed the dock at the new boat ramp yet at Newman Lake?

I have been told they now have it in. I haven't seen it but my info came from a reliable source.

I called the WDFW and all they could tell me was that they were working on it on the 13th. They couldn't tell me if it was done yet or not.

A fellow washington lakes user told me he has been there and has used the dock. He said it's only a couple of boat lengths long though.

That's fine with me. As long as you can float a boat next to it, that'll work.

That should make coming off the lake in the wind a bit easier now.

I am going to try and wake the tigers up on Monday at Newman and will post about the ramp when I post my report. Hopefully a positive report. Dennis

I have used the dock three times now. It's very nice and VERY helpfull. Thye did a great job on it, as well as paving and lining the parking lot. Launching at Newman is now a pleasure instead of a pain in the butt.
