Anyone know of open water (free of ice) in Spokane Co?
Anyone know of open water (free of ice) in Spokane Co?
I just got a new boat and I want to go for a paddle to try it out. However, I'm afraid that those places I normally go are frozen over. Anyone know of anywhere that wouldn't require skates?

Coeur De Alene, ID would probably be the closest.

I think all the water in Spokane is still hard. I'm looking at getting the boat out on Potholes or Moses Lake, in the next few weeks make sure everything is in good working order, this cold weather later this week is gonna make any soft water very hard

Liberty opens for fishing tomorrow and is almost totaly ice free, you only have to be careful in the parking lot and ramp areas as the gate has been locked and the plows have not been down there yet. I will go there later today and post what I find at that time...Dennis
