snake river sturgeon
Anyone have any tips for a first time sturgeon fisherman? I'm heading down to central ferry saturday morning. Gonna try smelt and squids for bait. Any tips about the area would be apreciated. Thanks

Looks like I'm a little late to chime in before your trip, but I fish the Snake for sturgeon quite a bit and have my best luck with a combination of roll-mop herring and squid.
