Northwest Fishing Reports

We might hit American Lake in the next couple weeks, and just wondering what works the best, (besides trolling) and what part of the lake to go to.

I know you are new to the site... but the best thing is to just go to "Lake reports" and read the current reports for the lake. Also check the "Hot Spots" report.

My first piece of advise on American would be to fish it during the week, and not the weekend, and if you have to fish the weekend, get out there as early as possible. The power boaters and jetskiers can be quite rude. The southeast part of the lake, and also Little American are 5 mph no wake zones, this is not to say that there aren't the occasional jerks that buzz the fisherman back there, but that is your best bet to avoid the speeders. Fishing is good for trout, kokanee, perch, rock bass, and decent for small mouth bass. Not sure what fish you want to target, but if you want you can pm me for more specific info.
