Does anybody know of any good shore access points for bass fishing on the Lower Yak and Lower Snake and Columbia around the Tri-Cities area, within and hour? My cousin from Minnesota is coming in and he is wanting to hook up some smallies. Any info is appreciated!

There are some great bass fishing opportunities on the Snake. Check out my reply in the following report.

I saw your info on fishing across from Fishhook park, however, I am not too sure how to get there, if I am coming from Tri-Cities towards Burbank, where do i turn off before crossing the Snake River?

After you have gone through the tri cities, cross the river, and right after you cross the river, take a left onto highway 24. Go about sixteen miles, past the charbeneu turn off, until you hit fishhook road. Follow that four about four miles or so, and it will put you into the park.

The Burbank Slough is supposed to be good for Bass. I will take some walking to find some good places. I intend to pop in there soon to try it out. If you ever want a fishing buddy PM me.
