My friends are I are planning to go to lake Chelan this weekend for some fishing. We just want to be able to catch a bunch of fish for fun. We don't need big fish. We just want bass, crappies, bluegills, and/or sunfish. We plan to go to Roses lake and also plan to rent a small boat or canoe. Can someone help me with the following?
1. Where can I go to rent a small boat?
2. Is this a good time to fish in Roses lake?
3. What kind of baits should I be using? Worms? Maggots? Artificial stuffs?
4. What other lake in Chelan may be better?

We're not pros. We just want to have some fun. Please help!

Wapato you can rent a little boat and the lake is full of stockers. Good fun catching all day long. It's right next to Roses.

Since trouts are plentiful near the Seattle area, my friends and I like crappies and bluegills better. Plus they bite a lot more often than trouts. I need to find a place that we can rent an aluminum boat for 4 to 5 people in the Lake Chelan area. For some reasons nobody has them for rent.

Apparently you missed the last post. I just told you they have boats to rent at Wapato. You can fish for bass and stuff if you want to but you can catch trout all day with selective gear and take a bunch home too. I caught over 30 fish each day last weekend.
