silver lake snohomish county

i went to the lake at 11:00 am no bites until 11:45 3rd cast i cought a 16' in bow 30 mins later i landed another bow which was 14' inches..at 1:00pm i landed a rainbow which had to of been 26 inches i got onto the dock to remove the hook and once i did it flopped back into the waterwhat a shame..this lake is very well alive hint try orange power egg's tight lines

Welcome to WL.com! I think you should submit a report for this lake instead of posting on the forum next time though. Nice job on the lake!

Nice Fish! That lake does hold some big ones, but they are smart fish and hard to catch. I imagine you were fishing from the park on the west side of the lake?

I've been fishing that lake for a while and I've yet to catch anything worth keeping. I do take my kids there to fish for the small perch (over by the park at the south-east end). They love reeling anything they can catch, and the perch there are pretty much a sure thing. One hint, if the perch bite starts to slack off, it might be because the rock bass moved in.

I've read that there's still some Kok's in there, but I've never heard of anyone catching any. That would be a treat to catch a Kok.
