Lake Tapps To Be Drained This Fall

Post by jmpurser » Tue Jun 03, 2014 11:09 am

This may be common knowledge but it's the first I've heard of this:

http://www.thenewstribune.com/2014/06/0 ... orylink=fb" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

"Lake Tapps is full again, and will remain that way for the next several months of recreation season.

But starting this fall, residents of the scenic East Pierce community will see water levels drop to their lowest in more than a decade."

=D> Fishing is "always easier "out of a barrel".......Let's hope the small lakes left behind and (packed with fish) are still open for fishing. [thumbsup]

They drain the lake every year.... What's the big news? It's fun to watch the Yocals get out on the lake in/on the their trucks and bikes. Funny how fast mud will stop a truck or a bike.
