Grasshopper on a sm. hook floated by a piece of styrofoam coffee cup under the full moon in a "city" lake for brown trout. Killer. Fun too. They BUST the water for that one.
It's a JOB to catch the hoppers tho.

the weirdest bait I ever used was wonder bread and a hook to catch trout.
