I was told at the time that it was very rare....our sixish trout didn't think so.... it was pretty warm water conditions, late summer?????? The wormy thing is also why I quit targeting the north end of Lake WA resident cutts years ago.

I haven't noticed worms in the perch I pull out of the north end of Lake WA... I don't know how inter-species worm infestations..... are affected....???? My understanding is, all fish/animals have worms, it's just conditions occur that bring them from microscopic to observable to the human eye occasionally. If ya want to scare yourself, put a bright light behind filleted "LARGE" bottom fish..... But the worms we found at Mineral were in the gut cavity.... same with some of those Lake WA cutts years ago.... not the migratory along the bridges,,, but the residents just south of the north end shallows. AND,,,, that was a decade or more ago..
