thought i would bring up this thread as i am thinking of fishing for cats with two poles in this area when the time comes. no ice fishing as there is no good ice if any around here so i might as well look at my gear and think of what/where i want to fish this spring!

Time to start thinking about Lyon's Ferry again!
Those C-cats were some of the best-tatsing fillets I ever did in my Mom's Griswold skillet!

Catch some suckers or Pikeminnows, cut two inch by half-inch strips of meat, weightless and on the bottom. FISH ON

Palouse River mouth upstream a half-mile and you are in their spawning area.

Take a kid, they will LOVE their first 10 pounder and all that follow.
Never let the TRUTH get in the way of a good fish story!!
