I havent done any catfishing but lg mouth are starting to come on. Try Buena Pond, #6 just off the Buena exit. I have seen some lunkers off shore this year, no luck catching any yet. Guy last May caught an 8+lb lg mouth. Let me know how it goes, especially on cats. I have been wanting to fish for them just been busy.

If you are looking for some nice size cats, drive up to Horns rapids and the mouth of the Yakima in Richland. They are catching some nice ones there. You can see where people are fishing, just find an open spot. Catching some nice sized Channels.

on my way to football camp at Central Washington University, we passed a series of small ponds that had tons of people fishing them and i was wondering if they are the "I-82" ponds? i think i saw them in between yakima and elensburg, but i may be wrong.

ther has been alot of foot traffic around ponds 4-5 and 6(buena) was able to look them over a few weeks ago, some have been catching cats from #5 and i lost a dandy cat last year on the back side of buena. stood about 4 hours at buena trying to get 5 bass to take anything i threw but they were not about to be fooled:scratch: they were all over 5lbs one maybe 7lbs. did catch some keeper bluegill (7"). (lots of trash around (4&5)](*,) <')//<

wow, is all i can say, but not in a good way

got a late start due to work and found pond #6 at about 9:30pm friday, and it closes at 10pm so i went looking for 4&5, didn't find them till the next day after stoping at a local fishing/hunting shop and asking for directions ( its off old yakima highway, flint rd )

when i got there all i saw was 2 lakes pretty much surrounded by garbage, it was disgusting to say the least, fished the next 12 hours ( 12 am-12 pm ) with 2 hits, my freind had more bites and had a couple fish get within sight of the shore but they came off, she thought they were cats but wasn't 100%.

fished only for cats with worms and chuncks of brined herring, wish i had some chicken hearts or livers but couldn't get any before leaving

probably won't bother ever going back, i dunno about others but i can't stand fishing in garbage and tripping over wads of ridiculously huge line everyware, it took me 1 minute to stuff 2 safeway bags full of trash, cans, lines and other ****
