Trout Worms?
Does anyone use these regularly? If so, How? trolling, jigging, bottom fishing? With lures? I see them all the time in the stores.....never used them. I do use real worms some. Just wondering if there is a specific use for these. Thanks.

Yeah the trout worms are "pretty" but nothing beats the real thing. I know the nitro and berkeley trout worms work pretty well but Ive seen them used with powerbait. They make them in a lot of colors so thats just one more thing to have to buy of every color just to match each lakes "hot color"

They work pretty well on a jig head for Steelhead, and they can work pretty well at times for jigging up some trout, but they are really not for cast and forget fishing.
Too much water, so many fish, too little time.

if we are good to are lakes and streams they will be good to us

Thanks, for the info....got some as gifts and they just take up space in the tackle box as far as I'm concerned.....don't do any steelhead fishing and have never jigged for trout......troll and bottom fish.

Real ones all the way...anything fake NEVER works...I tried some of those Powerbait worms and wasted my money...luckily they were cheap

I have also tried those fake berkley I think is the brand worms and they never worked. The real thing has always worked best for me. I keep my own worm farm, so I get them pretty plump before I harvest some to take out for the day with me.

I used them at Twin Lakes in Ferry county because the trout ate up my real worms before I could get my line out to the depth that I wanted to fish. I'd have my limit in less than 15 minutes with real worms.
