Lk Chelan Manson Boat Launch

Post by bellinghamangler » Fri Jan 01, 2016 9:15 am

Just wondering if anyone has used the Old Mill launch recently and if so what condition it is in. I'm planning on using it early next week if it's not a total sheet of ice. Thanks.

Let us know how it went for you - I'm thinking of giving it a go in the next week or two... I'll be hauling a lot of sand with me!

It should be ok. Darrell and Dad's Family Guide Service would be the person to contact, they use it almost every day.
BTW, Jeff Witkowski, who guides for Darrell and Dad's just posted a 27 pound laker a couple days ago.

So, I didn't end up fishing, but I did check the boat launch. as of Wednesday it hadn't been used since that last dump of snow and had roughly 1ft of snow on it all the way to the lake. I'm guessing conditions are getting better as it warmed up quite a bit and Manson Public Works was actively removing snow from the roads in town. The lake looked beautiful both days and I was longing to hit it. Oh well, thinking of hitting Roosevelt next weekend.

Boat launch was "ok", ice in places and the docks were ice/snow, but still doable.
