walleye
Re: Sprague lake fishing
There are no longer any walleye there. The wdfw rehabitated the lake a few years back and made it a trout lake.

Re: Sprague lake fishing
Well, that's not entirely true. Yes, there are no walleye, that part is true. Sprague is managed as a warmwater species lake with trout added as an interim fishery until the warmwater species recover, or so we've been told by WDFW. Unfortunately, the planted warmwater species are not growing at the anticipated rate, much to the chagrin of warmwater anglers who like to fish Sprague.rusty wrote:There are no longer any walleye there. Re: Sprague lake fishing
I would think if WDFW wasn't able to poison out all the carp then some of the walleye might have survived also. Just a thought.
In the earlier post I was being sarcastic when I said "walleye".

Jipper.
If you are after Trout, Sprague would be a good bet.
If you are looking for warm water species you may want to go anywhere else.
