I have yet to fish there this year, but have fished it plenty of times in the past 3/4 years. The lake is deep, and very clear. The shoreline is filled with downed trees coming into the water. The launch is very shallow but decent. Depending on the water level, it can be difficult to launch boats w/ a deeper draft due to the fact that you need to cross over a series of large down logs to get into the lake that are normally 6-12" below the surface. Great little lake to fish. Even right after opening day, fish seem to be down deep..15-30 down. good luck
