Walleye at Potholes

Post by JT26 » Wed Jul 02, 2008 9:07 pm

I'll be heading to Potholes next Tuesday, my dad called someone over there and they said the crappie and perch still arent biting, but the bass and walleye fishing has been good. I think i've got the bass down, but i dont even know where to start for walleye.
I have already read many reports, and a few threads here about fishing for them, but it seems there are many different ways.

It seems like trolling a worm on a worm harness at Lind Coulee and Crab Creek is a productive way.
It also seems like leaches will work to, but i have know idea how to fish them...

Also, does anyone know what walleye are...thinking now? lol i dont know how to word it. What i mean is, where they are, like depth, what type of area attracts them, any helpful info like that.

Thanks for any help you can give! I really need it lol.
