Does anyone know of any good panfish lakes on the West side ??? (Crappie, Perch, Bluegill and Pumpkinseeds) ???

Lake Tanwax near Spanaway. Lake Union in Seattle.

If you want to eat what you catch, I would not suggest Lake Union. American Lake has a fair number of perch and plenty of rock bass to keep a person busy. Are you shore bound?

I am shore bound, unless I get a rental but as we all know that can get expensive!

I would not eat too many fish from Lake Union either. But then that would go for just about every lake around here. Between the creasote of private docks to gas and oil spills no lake is immune from the nastys.

I would suggerst buying a rubber raft or other inflatable. They're pretty cheap and you'll be able to cover way more water. Plus, since about 95% of shore access is private land on most lakes around here, you don't have much to work with when you're on the bank.

dont overlook lake washington. Gene coulon park on south end has massive dock. Also five mile lake in fed way used to have a dock (not sure now), Cassidy lake snohomish county has small dock on east side. There are times you can do well at sammamish right off boatlaunch docks.

Horseshoe lake which is near Gig Harbor has a lot of BlueGill they are all over that lake!

kapowsin has some big crappie an bluegill. so does rapjohn which isnt far from it.
like narrows11 says, horseshoe has plenty of bluegill. crescent also by gig harbor does also but shore access is super limited.

Killarny is the best bluegill lake that i know of in king county. You can catch them from the launch but its a very small spot.

Fivemile can be good for crappie perch bass and bluegill but its hit or miss.

Trout is a great jig lake for bass. Have also done very good from the launch for perch bluegill and trout.

Larson lake can be good for crappie and bass. I have caught quite a few 12" crappie and you can walk around the whole lake. Although the city must not have liked me putting my pontoon in there, this year there is a sign that says shorefishing only no fishing from boats or floating devices.

Star lake has a small launch but bobber and worm and you can get into rock bass all day.
