Schaefer Lake - Chelan County

Post by tagwatson360 » Wed Sep 15, 2010 6:16 pm

Hello,

I am looking to go on a camping trip up to Schaefer Lake. Has anyone ever hiked up to Schaefer Lake that could possibly offer a little insight regarding the trout population/fishing up there? Thank you in advance!

Here is a recent trip report.

Some reports that I have read say the trout are about 8-12 inches. The game dept. put a no size and a 16 fish limit on the lake... So Im sure there is a ton of fish in there.
