This is not an alpine lake. But if you ever visit bellingham, this is a great place to go right in the middle of the city.
Whatcom Falls Park. Pictures of Whatcom Falls, Whatcom Creek and the hike. About three to four miles of trails.
Take lakeway drive east till you reach whatcom falls park. The trail is to the left.

Thanks for the heads up. I really enjoy waterfalls no matter how big or small. Nice looking place, I'll have to check it out next time I am up that way.
