Has anyone caught trout at Silver Lake here in Cowlitz Co? I read that they stock the lake with thousands of trout
but I sure can't find them. If anyone has the secret please give me a hint. What bait, what part of the lake etc.
Thanks in advance. ken

are you in a boat or shore, In a boat i have always done real well in SW corner where the pilings are i usally tie off to one, as far as bait goes i will use a slip bobber go from any where 3-8ft down with a crawler, Lures i will toss tasmanian devils or thomas bouyants i cant really say as far as color goes but he pink tasmanian's work real well. there is also a submerged island near by and trolling a gold wedding will put some fish in the boat. no flashers just the wedding ring with a #2 split shot. As far as bank fishing goes i have never done any good other than catching golden wiper AKA carp. Hope this helps.
