kapowsin lake thurston county

I got a buddy who fishes this lake for Bass but i am interested on where to fish for trout here and what to use . I use to fish this lake 15 years ago but would like an update . please help . would like to go out sunday.

Sorry it took so long to get to you on this, but I'm kinda slow and just found this post. For trout in Kapowsin I would recommend leaving the public dock and heading to the right (west/south) end of the lake. There is not as many stumps that direction, still have some to deal with but not as many, and that's where I've caught most of my trout out of there. All i have done in the past is trolled spinners either a powerbait spinner green or a gold mepps. They seem to do the trick. Good luck!
