fishtrap lake

I was wondering when opening day for fishtrap lake Lincoln county is open for trout. :-k

Dates Open:


4th Sat in April thru Sept. 30th

How is the fishing at Fishtrap lake, are there nice places to camp there?

There is a campground there but it fills up fast for opening weekend. The fishing can be good (mainly stockers) but the wind can be an issue. The lake is usually crowded opening weekend.

last year i whent and the fishing was amazing we got lots of 5lb rainbows and triploids. there was a lot of people on the banks but using the boat is the way to go.

thanks for the dates i could not remember for shure when it was open,helps a lot Guys.
