Northwest Fishing Reports

I got my personal best last thursday, a 49" toad that ate a jig and trailer combo on Lake Tapps. I was cruising the shallows throwing out into deeper water when i spotted the fish laying in the shallows in a rocky area. I was able to get close and pitch a jig in close. As soon as the jig was near her nose she inhaled it! After a short fight she was in the net, a quick pic and she was back in the lake. Saw 3 fish that day and another 7 the next day..........looks like it's starting to heat up! Mike.

What do you think Tapps will be like next weekend? (Opening weekend)

Since its not stocked I would think it wouldnt be to busy but I have never fished Tapps upening weekend before either.
