Making your own Musky Lures

When I was out fishing with Muskyhunter last week, it gave me a chance to see some really nice "Bucktail Style" Musky lures. I think he stated a family member custom makes them for him. I found several sites online that sell all of the needed components to make custom lures and wondered if anyone else here makes their own. If so, any good suggestions for material sources would be much appreciated. It is always great to pull in a fish, but the enjoyment is even greater when that fish was caught by a lure or fly you made yourself.

Thanks

I make my own bucktails though I do them with marabou. The blades, clevices, shafts and hooks come from a company called Pen-Tac. The marabou I get locally and the bodies i pour out of lead and paint. I also use some beads which can be purchased at most tackle stores. I mostly fish the #6 blades but my biggest fish came on a #5.
