Lk Tapps Pierce Co Boat Launch Hours

In case you guys missed an earlier post of mine, the Pierce Co Park boat launch will open at 6 am as soon as the lake is up and the launches are safe to use without damaging your boat/trailers. A big thanx here goes to Denny Bilderback(park manager)for agreeing to open up early for the fishermen. If you see him, say thanx and maybe let him know how the fishing was. Another thanx goes to Kathy Smith(director Pierce Co Parks)for meeting with me a couple of years ago and enabling this early opening to start. If we police ourselves here I see no reason this early opening cannot continue each year.

Just an update on the launch and water levels. The lake is stil down about 5 plus feet. Just up on the boat ramp concrete. It is open at 6am for those interested. Again, this is simply becuase Denny is a sportsman and is willing to work with the fishermen for access during peak times. Denny let me know this Sat evening.
