So many have worked long hours, preparing and then fine tuneing presentations for the Muskie School.
We have gathered the best, to give you what they have learned over many years about our Tiger Muskies.
We have Bret Olson: The State's top Tiger Muskie fisherman for 2008.
We have anglers that are willing to show you where to start, what to use and when to use it, to make your first trip productive on each and every one of the state's seven lakes.
The Muskie School was made for you.
I have a Question for you?
What are you planning to come away with?
Bill

Don't forget Larry Ramsell, Hayword, WI. with his big presentation, Bruce Bolding's great WDFW powerpoint, Mike Floyd sharing his knowledge about lures, rods and reels and much, much more.

Hey guys; got two more signed up today for the school; they just keep pouring in.
It is so exciting to be a small part of this historic moment... can't wait!!
Of course, with Bills' reputation of kindness and good heart, he is a leader that is easy to follow.
I am so proud of our Chapter: hard work, focused on fun and with the respect of the International body of Muskies Inc.
We have come a long way in 2 short years, WTG to every one of our 88 members out there,
not just for this Tiger School, but for all the support.
Here's to 2009 on the water! Yipee!

Did I mention that Larry Ramsell is a past TWO term President of Muskies Inc. International?

It is an honor to have someone like Larry Ramsell support our washington tigers.
It is also an honor to have Muskies, Inc. represented by someone with such history.
He is held in high esteem by many. Not just for being a word class angler, but for being a person of integrity.
Looking forward to it!

Being a part of Muskies, Inc. is what keeps this Chapter strong, IMO.
Good guys like Larry Ramsell paved the way for us many years ago and
the legacy of that is unfolding in our great Northwest today.
He helped start 14 Chapters.... 14!!
Muskies, Inc. is a proud and strong organization and the benefits that come from it are substantial.
For me, personally, I enjoy getting the National Magazine, MUSKIE, every month to see what is going on with other Chapters and those great photos.
They spoiled us with a lot of coverage of Chapter 57 and many of our anglers
got their pictures in the magazine for the very first time.

Our local Chapter #57 dominated the Hybrid category in 2007,
and in 2008 we did it again: 13 anglers out of the top 25 in the nation came from the NW TIGER PAC.
Awesome!
It is going to be such an honor to have Larry in the good 'ol Northwest.
I know he is eager to meet all of you!
See you at the school!

In the meantime, check it out:

Larry just sent an e-mail saying he'd have special lure advice for tigers during his slide presentation. It will be interesting to hear what his favorites are.

GREAT Chapter #57 meeting tonight.. and we signed up even more people for our First Muskie School!

So, if you find that you fit any of these categories:
1. Know nothing and want to start
2. Know some, but are eager to know more
3. Already know plenty, but want to hang out with some new old friends
and
4. MEET MR. LARRY RAMSELL ... woohoo

Then hurry up and sign up, the time is getting close, 16 days to go!
The last one to sign up has to be the volunteer who goes in the pool if we drop a lure.

KIDDING!

KUP,
I think we should stick with your original quote and make the last person to sign up be the volunteer who goes in the pool. ;)

That's what I thought last August just before my barrel knot undid itself with a 25-pounder on the other end of the line. If the only thing you learn at this school is how to tie a better knot than mine, it'll be worth your time.

Kup,
you are probably right in that you tie better knots than I do, although if someone is as easily scared off as getting a little wet, then I don't know if they will have enough wits to battle the mighty Tiger Muskie. These beasts have wicked sharp teeth, get up to 4.5-5ft long and if hooked right at boat side have a good tendency to get you soaking wet. So Tiger Muskie fishing isn't for the weak of heart but if you want to learn how to take on these ticking torpedoes, I suggest coming to the muskie school where many a warriors who have survived the muskie explosive tactics, share there knowledge and battle techniques on how to tame the ticking toredoes.

And one more thing if you guys see a crazy 6ft midget sitting in the hot tub drinking mai tais during the pool demonstration, don't be scared, it's just me!!
