As there has been some dout as to the life span and growth rates of the Tiger Muskie, why dosen't the WDFW tag the fish they release?
It would seem to me that alot of info could be gatherd with a simple tagging program.

I was thinking more of the small noodle tags.
The fish could be tagged at the hatchery and would carry the tag for there life time.
Then when ever a fish was caught we would know how old they were and how fast they are growing.
The radio tracking is a neet idea but we only get information for a year or so before the battery runs out.
