I would also like to say thanks Kenster.

Those guys in Iowa are having some pretty tough times as of now with all the flooding that has happened back that way. Good for you in extending that friendly hand to another man. Isn't that what fishing is really about? Good people.

May the fishing Gods smile down upon you my friend:)

Sorry Kup, didn't see this thread. thanks!

Well all I can say is iamusky is one taleneted fellow and he did his Tiger research before he boarded my vessel! He's used to seeing alot more Musky action than we're having with our cold water (64-66). The day went (in short)... 3 hook-ups (2 lost well short of the boat), two follows, two siteings and a hand full of smallies. Didn't land the 36" fish untill 4pm, and man did Tracey have to work for it! Thanks KUP that was very generous of you to loan out such quality gear! (Tracey left you a "Magic" present!) He said he can't wait to report his Washington Tiger to his Iowa Chapter! He will be welcomed aboard my boat any time he can get here! (he left me something too, yeah!!!) All I can say is, (since you guys are gearing up for a tourney) have you ever seen someone really work a glider?... I have! Tracey will post a report in the report section when he returns to Iowa! Thanks again Tracey!!

Ken

WTG, kenster!

Best money I ever spent on a wager... & entertaining, too!
Can't wait to see the pictures.

ahem... Welcome to Chapter 57, my friend.

koop

and iamusky; have a good time seeing the rest of our beautiful NW and have a safe trip home (which I hope is in a high elevation area with no flooding...)

Well I finally made it back to Iowa and found a moment to give my report. I had a great day on the lake with ken he was a great host along with his wife making us sandwiches and had dinner for us when we arrived back i couldn't of asked for anything more :bounce: except maybe a lake Tapps muskie that he put me on also. We fished hard all day long seeing a few fish and a few misses but at 4:00 my chance showed itself i was throwing a spinnerbait when all of a sudden i looked down at my lure as i was getting ready for a l turn at the boat and a tiger came out of know where i figured eighted him several times and he just wouldn't commit to biting and finally left so i picked up my other rod (Thanks KUP) and threw my glide bait back at him and he came charging back after it missing the bait a few times all the way to the boat i kept working my bait in front of him around the motor and made a fast turn on the other side of the boat and he finally took it. Ken did a great net job and we took a few pictures and a quick measurement and we let him go. He was 36" long and very healthy looking . Maybe Ken can post a picture as i can't figure out how to. Ken new the lake very good and I was very impressed.

I would like to thank everyone again for making me feel welcome out in your state you all seem like great people and have a wonerful club and a beutiful lake.A special thank you to ken and Kup for taking me on your busy schedule and loaning me your rods and reels that is what muskies inc. is all about.:bom: Take care and great fishing,Tracy Crail

p.s Those boat awnings can be a job to get your lure out of.

Tracey that was almost exact but you forgot your switching of rods and working the glider to get the catch! That was impressive beyond anything I have seen! And BTW I only told 2 people about the awning and they weren't gonna tell a sole! I passed some photo's to Chapter 57, but if you post a report in the report section it should be no problem placing the photos. Send me yours and I can post a report, the reports stay there forever, or until the web site expires, and is a great future resource for telling TRUE fish stories. Not fish tales.
