The News Tribune is getting the word out about Muskies Inc. Way to go guys! It seems that in the Tiger Musky category 11 of the top 25 fish in the nation were Washington fish. It just posted today. This should be seen as a great accomplishment and everyone deserves praise for their efforts to enhance and expand the fishery.

Hey, thanks for posting that 2000subaru! Good job!
Chapter 57 has a great Press Release volunteer, Mark H., who helped make that article possible.
Not only do we want to educate folks about the tigers,
but we want Washingtonians to know that we lead the nation (out of some 50+ Chapters) in tiger muskie releases. And that, my friends, means A LOT of fun!
Did I mention braggin’ rights....? LOL.
Ok, so just SEEING "tiger muskie fishing" in the paper is making me run around thinking about spooling reels and watching the water temp on the lake.

Bill pointed the article out today while we were eating lunch before he went to work. He and I have been out on Tapps twice already but mostly just to try new equipment like a new depth finder with GPS which is cool. We've thrown a line out hoping maybe for a smallie but the water temp is still only 45-46 degrees and we haven't caught anything. Took the 5 year old grandson and the underwater camera the second time so most of the time was spent looking at stuff in the water and playing in it with the net. Joe did try casting a few times with one of Grandpa's baitcaster set ups and did ok but playing with the net was more fun.
