Hello All,
Well the results are in for the Muskies, Inc. "Hybrid Top 25 for 2013".
This year between our two Washington State Chapters: "NW TIGER PAC", Chapter 57, and "Mountain Muskies", Chapter 60 (Spokane), the State of Washington took 13 of the Top 25 positions Nationally... Congratulations to all who reported your fish to the National M.I. "Lunge Log" to gain this honor ... Three more TM also made the "Top 25" list from our other "Western Connection" Chapter, that would be Chapter 59 of New Mexico... Congrats to them too!
D. Wood, President of Chapter 60, reported our largest Tiger this year with a huge, very healthy; 48.75-inch fish caught in Lake Curlew. Doug, took Second-Place overall in 2013 for Muskies, Inc. "Top 25"... Doug, was only being beat for the number one spot by .25 of an inch by a M.I. member of Chapter 49 who was fishing on Lake St. Clair back in the Midwest.
M. Floyd, took Third-Place overall with a 48.50-inch fish caught in Merwin Res. and E. Walzer placed Fourth with a respectable 48.25-inch fish that was also caught in Merwin Res... *The "Top Fish" from New Mexico placed Fifth. It was caught by M. Pelletier, President of the Chapter 59... This fish was an even 48-inches... Pretty close numbers guys... New Mexico is coming on!
Congratulations to you all for some great fish: Caught, Photographed and Released... "C-P-R"... With numbers like these I'm pretty sure we are all looking forward to a great 2014 and spending even more time on the water:)
We also hope to see you all at the big 2014 "Puyallup Sportsman-Show" again this year to talk some Muskie fishing. We're in the same booth as the previous 6-years. Please bring your questions and your stories about fishing... We'll do our best to answer any questions that you may have about these fish, or any others for that matter, and we always enjoy a good fishing tale too!
Until then...
