Nice, professional flier, Muskies, Inc!
I saw it in the June issue of NW Sportsman Magazine, too,
along with that great article about tiger muskies.
Hopefully with the warmer weather coming, Newman, Tapps and Mayfield
will produce some nice fish this year for the upcoming fun tournaments!

It sounds like it's going to be fun. I am still looking for a spot on a boat though so if anyone has room, I'd really appreciate it. Can't wait to get down thier and enjoy all of the fun activities too.[thumbsup]

Hey Tank,

I might have a boat for you to go in, give me a shout either tonight or sometime later this week and I might be able to get you into Bob Mania's boat. I have been in contact with him for the last few weeks and He is looking for someone for Day 1. Have your Dad check his emails, I sent the information his way. By the way we need to get back together again and go out for another day on the lake and get a Tiger. Keep in touch, we will see you at the Tournament next weekend, have a good one.

Nate

The first annual "Jack Tipping Classic" Open Tournament is just days away. The anticapation is mounting as Muskie fisherman from all over the area are polishing their lures, cleaning their reels and counting down the days. As tournament director, I will be signing up the 2 man teams on Friday the 15th from 5-8pm at the Mossyrock Cummunity Center, $50 per team. Thus far 10 teams are locked in, but don't fear there is still plenty of room. Just to be sure drop me an email and I'll save a spot for ya. Many prizes to be raffled, silent auction or won by landing that big Tiger. Friday, sign in 5 to 8pm. Saturday 6am to 3pm first day of fishing and 5 to 8pm dinner and social at the Community Center. Sunday 6am to 1pm fishing, 2 to 4pm awards and raffle back at the Cummunity Center. So come join us and celebrate the history of Tiger Muskies in Mayfield since 1988.

Here is Jack Tipping himself with a Mayfield Tiger Muskie caught in Aug.2009. Jack worked for WDFW in 1988 and was there to plant the very first Tiger Muskies in Washington State at Mayfield Lake.

That's a good one Dougw. I copied and pasted the rest of this so I didn't have to type it twice, once for Chapter 57 and once for Chapter 60 since they are both having great tournaments this weekend.
That's pretty nifty that people have such great opportunities to fish in a Tiger Muskie tournament this weekend. Everyone can have great fun with either of the Muskies Inc. chapters having the tournaments and the opportunity to try for some great prizes. Just have to pick which side of the state to go for....the dry side or the wet side...or which one is closer to home so you can conserve gas money.
Hope everyone has a great time and be sure to post results and maybe pics quickly for those of us that can't make it.

Thank you DougW, it is our hope that Chapter 60 also catches many fish. May some of them even be legal[flapper]. Keep the USS Pend Oreille a float and send some pictures. We will post updates from the Jack Tipping Classic, so check in and follow the fun. Better yet come on down and join us.
Funny that you should mention be safe, click on the attachment. "Skier Attacked By Tiger Muskie"

Hey Doug, have fun on Silver tommorrow! Taking the son to Mayfield for the weekend, he loves that lake. Fished Merwin yesterday and boated 3. Got a 48.5 X 23.5 pig on a Rapala. Mike.
