Hope you guys are catching tigers on Mayfield. Let's see some pictures when you get them. Can't wait for our tournament net weekend. Curlew is calling!

Hey Doug and Fellow Anglers,

Nate here, so Mayfield was very tough today. Our boat was able to get 3 Monsters to follow our lures right to the boat, but they wouldn't commit to hitting anything. Everyone else had the same luck, they were able to bring a few to the surface and get a few follows here and there, but nothing would commit to actually attacking the lures being thrown at them. While we were fishing we saw a total of 8 Tigers and I even hit one right on the head with my lure while He was sunning on the flats. Well needless to say he darted right at the boat and gave me the Fin as he went by. He didn't look real happy with me, but at least I now know where He hangs and I will certainly be back to get that Bruiser later in the year! There were a ton of different types and styles of lures thrown today too so it isn't like we didn't try everything in the arsenal to hook one. I personally even pulled out lures that I know the Tiger's have never seen and needless to say that was actually a HUGE meal ticket for at least locating and getting follows from the Tigers. Even Sparky was able to bring about a 45 incher right next to the boat, but He decided to give us the fin before going back to his home. Oh well, that is why it's called fishing and not catching, but at least we had a full day of Sun with NO RAIN, it was Great Weather for a Tournament!!! Good luck out at Curlew this coming weekend, I am sure there will be some great stories to be told.
