WDFW Fast Tracks Warmwater Hiring
WDFW decided to downgrade the Warmwater Manager position to a Biologist position designated as "Warmwater Coordinator" and hire the person by March 16. Otherwise, a hiring freeze by the governor taking effect on March 17 would force WDFW to leave the position vacant indefinitely. The application deadline is March 10, interviews will be on March 11 & 12, and the position will be offered to the selected candidate on either the 12th or 15th, leaving the 16th for paperwork completion. Therefore, we should find out next week who the new warmwater person is.
