Fazon Lake Muskie (B'ham)

Hey Lip Rippa,
Sorry for the slow response. I was waiting on someone with more info. to get back to you.
All that I know is that Fazon was originally stocked with muskies at one time but it is no longer being stocked. I do not know how many viable muskies are still in the lake, if any. The "Tiger" muskie can not reproduce itself because it is a sterile fish. If there are still any fish left in the lake they should be big!!!
Can anyone else help us out here?:)

>----):< A good gamefish is too valuable, to be caught only once.

RE:Fazon Lake Muskie (B'ham)
Hate to tell you this but I spoke with the biologist who originally stocked the lake and he said they have shocked the lake numerous times and didn't find any tigers left. He basically said not to waste my time. I fished for them religiously for a few years and always heard someone who had a friend of a friend who caught one, or someone had one on but it got off. Unfortunately, I haven't seen any pics or other proof of anybody catching one. I find it more fun to go to Mayfield every year, at least you get to see them there. Sorry for the doom and gloom.
